Challenge

Develop an unattended drone station capable of supporting autonomous landing, charging, environmental protection, and reliable operation across a wide range of outdoor conditions.

What we did

Engineered the enclosure, automated hatch and landing mechanisms, charging and battery-management systems, control electronics, communications, HVAC, and weather-station integration. Prototypes were refined through field and validation testing.

Outcome

Delivered a field-tested autonomous station integrated with the client's drone and telecommunications systems, with production-oriented design updates and documentation for future batch manufacturing.

VTOL impeller design

Challenge

Optimize an enclosed multirotor impeller for airflow efficiency, structural integrity, low weight, and practical integration into an emerging electric VTOL aircraft architecture.

What we did

Combined aerodynamic research, CFD simulation, mechanical design, and iterative prototyping to evaluate propeller positioning, duct geometry, airflow behavior, and manufacturability.

Outcome

Delivered an optimized 1.77 kg impeller design and production-ready CAD documentation, achieving a 24.6% thrust improvement at 3,000 rpm through revised propeller placement.
